The identity for Khōra was conceived by Bungalow Image as a distilled expression of modern Mediterranean hospitality — a brand system designed to feel timeless, restrained and deeply connected to place.
At its centre sits the Khōra mark: not simply a logo, but a quiet vessel for the brand’s philosophy. Each element carries intention. The macron nods to the Platonic origin of the name; the open, architectural spacing evokes stillness and clarity; the subtle drop recalls a vessel — a symbol of memory, presence and gathering. Together these gestures form a mark that balances warmth with precision, embodying the spirit of Greek philoxenia.

From the earliest stages of the project, our team visited the restaurant while it was still under construction, studying its materiality, light and spatial rhythm. These observations informed a series of hand-drawn symbols, developed as a visual language inspired by the elements that define the Khōra experience – food and sustainability, community and the “avli”.
Combined with a restrained typographic system and tactile printed collateral, the identity translates Khōra’s vision into a coherent brand world: a place where form meets feeling, where food becomes memory, and where return becomes ritual.
